Hi, I am Rohan, 28-year-old man from Kolkata, India. Software developer by profession.
I have overcome extreme poverty through Cynicism, Journaling, and Mindfulness. I have developed a theory that allows me to live an intentional life with limited resources.
For those who don’t know, Cynicism is a belief system that suggests that people only act out of their own self-interests.
The theory of Cynicism has a bad reputation.
Still, we use it in many areas unconsciously.
When applying for jobs, we don’t expect the company to hire us out of generosity. We think about what the company wants and try to present our skills accordingly.
The same happens when we receive a message promising we to double our investment in 25 days.
For advertisers, people from the US are more valuable than rest of the world, as they have higher purchasing power.
Selectively using Cynicism is creating confusion.
Very few people in the world actually help us “unconditionally”. Only our close family members and friends. So if we can explain this “unconditional” part using Cynicism then we can simplify how the world works.
It's important to see things clearly, close to their nature. To attain mastery.
Cynicism can help to think from the first principles to explain what is happening around us.
In this newsletter, I will write about how we can apply Cynicism in different areas of our lives to gain clarity. If this sounds good to you, consider subscribing to the newsletter. The first article will come on 11th October.
